The machinery now is much more sophisticated and the materials and equipment that are used are of better and durable materials. A lot goes into mining and excavation processes. There are a number of tools required and appropriate accessories that are needed for the various processes. Mining is an age-old process that has helped man to discover about the land that he inhabited.
Mining gives us the precious and semi precious metals that are used in various machinery used in production processes. Any material that we use is either produced through agricultural processes or produced in factories r is excavated from the land. Materials like base metals, precious metals, iron, uranium, coal, diamonds, limestone, oil shale, rock salt and potash are all obtained through mining and are further utilized in different industries for different purposes. Thus, mining processes are of vital importance to the growth and development of various industries.

The geology field equipments is of great importance when it comes to mining. A number of tools and devices are required for measurement, assessment etc. It is imperative that these field accessories are of the best possible quality and are accurate. Even a minor error can cost a lot in case of mining. During the various processes of geological surveying, one also requires safety equipment. As mining is always outdoors and involves potential risk, the safety equipment is of great importance. The material used for these equipments should be of durable quality and should be able to stand the harsh weather conditions and the wear and tear.
In the mining industry, the sampling tools and drilling tools are also of great importance. The accessories that are used for sampling should thus adhere to the highest levels of accuracy. The geology outfitters need to be sturdy and weather resistant. As the mining procedures are mostly in harsh weather conditions, the accessories that are used should be able to work well even in such conditions. The sturdiness of the clothing material is of great importance and so is the high visibility.
Geological surveying is the perfect destination if you are looking for geology field equipments and field accessories. They have the highest quality of products at the best of prices. The mining supplies at CGS Mule are made with superior quality materials that would never fail you and deliver the best.

Understanding the Education System in South Korea

The education system in Korea is unique to say the least. It's hard to find other countries that have a more competitive academic ladder to climb than here. Testing starts in elementary school which determines the quality of the middle school the child will attend. The student's academic success in that middle school then plays a big role determining the high school the student is eligible for.

This process continues through to university. To get a good job in a top Korean firm or corporation, there are three major universities the student must graduate from: Seoul National University, Korea University or Yonsei University. Together these schools form "SKY" - the prestigious trio of most sought-after universities in Korea. The job prospects and social status of a Korean person is largely determined by their academic credentials. So getting into any of these schools is tough and the battle starts early.

For a long time here in Korea, English grammar ability and writing were all that was really required for entrance. Which is why you will find students at the middle to high school level whose understanding of grammar is very advanced, yet they struggle to say one meaningful, articulate sentence in an unscripted conversation. However, the realization soon struck that knowing English grammar, while at the time sufficient to get someone accepted into a good school, is not enough to make someone effective in real life situations where actual speaking is going to be required, i.e. in a business meeting with foreigners.

Nowadays, the ability to know conversational English is considered a basic requirement for admissions into any highly ranked university. Top universities in Korea require at least one conversational English course taken in the first semester and English conversation abilities are usually assessed before a student is admitted.

So what is the current state of Korea's English speaking ability? In a study conducted by Samsung Economic Research Group, Koreans spend 14.3 trillion won per year on private English lessons and another 700 billion on English proficiency tests. Koreans per capita, spend an enormous amount on English education, far surpassing Japan whose population is two and a half times bigger, but who altogether spend only the equivalent of about 5 trillion won. One would think that this truly enormous amount of money spent on education would result in a relatively high English fluency rate.

Yet out of the 12 Asian countries that were involved in a research study conducted by the Hong Kong Political end Economic Risk Consultancy, South Korea scored the lowest in overall English ability.

This is where you come in.

The English language hagwon is basically the answer of the ambitious parents who understand the need for their son or daughter to be able to speak a basic amount of English. Wanting the best for their child and knowing how important an English education is for their future, these parents have a few options: They can move to an English speaking country for an extended period of time so that their son or daughter can improve their English; they can hire a private tutor; or, they can enroll their child in an English language academy, where the students can get one on one face time with an actual native English speaker.

For most, it is the third option that is the most feasible, as moving abroad can be a huge ordeal and private tutors aren't always readily available.

So this situation has created a great opportunity for the English teacher in Korea. Demand for English teachers goes on unabated. As the economy and job market shrinks in America and around the world, the demand for English teachers here continues to rise. And at the present time, provides no signal of letting up.

The Turkish National Flag

One of my favorite vacated destinations is the city of Istanbul, located in the western part of Turkey. The city has history written all over it, and really inhabits an incredible culture of friendly people. During my days in this city and area I recall the incredibly tall flag poles flying the boldly colored red flag. I have seen the flag on sale here in the United States as part of a selection of a number of international flags for sale.

The red color in the Turkish flag dates to the time of the Ottomans, who converted the country to Islam in the 1400-s, or the 13th century. The crescent moon and the star go back to the cult of Diana and to the Virgin Mary. About the fifteenth century they became symbolic of Islam, interestingly, but they were especially associated with the Ottoman rule in Turkey.
Turkey is officially called the Republic of Turkey and considered a Eurasian country located in the western part of Asia, and southeastern Europe. Some of the other countries that border the republic are: Greece, Armenia and Iran. Interestingly, the Mediterranean Sea borders Turkey to the south; the Black Sea does so to the north. The Turkish Straits are the bodies of water that separate Europe and Asia.
Greece and Turkey may have seen better days or not. These two countries have had somewhat of a bad marriage for many years, if not decades or centuries. One area of conflict has been the island of Cyprus, which is located in the Mediterranean Sea, south of both respective territories. Considered a republic in our day, this island is officially called the Republic of Cyprus.
The island has a fascinating history really. The very earliest human activity on the island dates back to about ten thousand years BCE, according to historic evidence found on the south coast of the island. Some of the older water wells in the world are found on Cyprus, dated at the same aforementioned time. Interestingly, Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea.
and an Asian side, in other words, it is divided geographically.

The Easiest Way to Learn Graph Theory

Let us start with a historical problem which is called the Konigsberg Bridge Problem. The city of Konigsberg in former Prussia (now called Kaliningrad, Russia) has two islands in the middle of the rivers. The two islands connected to the mainland by seven bridges. Leonhard Euler in 1736 asked this problem: is it possible to walk from his home around the city and cross each of the seven bridges only once and return home? The key problem lies on the word "to cross each bridge only once".

Euler simplified the problem this way: each mass of land is considered as a node (or called vertex) and each of the bridge into a link (or called edge). The collection of nodes and links together with the properties and operations on the nodes and links is called Graph Theory. Euler also proved using this simple model that nobody can walk to cross each of the seven bridges once to return home. Thus, the Konigsberg Bridge Problem has no solution!

Since that time, the study of this theory has flourished. Now we can find many applications of graph theory. Just a few of them can be mentioned here:

Road network can be modeled as graph theory with intersection as node and the midblock as link. Using this graph, you can find the shortest path from your home to your school or office.

When each region in a map is represented as a node, and the connection of the region with its adjacent regions in the same map is indicated as a link, we will have a graph. Graph theory has lead to some results that you only 4 colors to color all regions in a map such that no adjacent region will be colored with the same color.

Electrical network is a graph with each of the junction and electrical devices as nodes connected by the wire as links.

Social network where each person is connected socially with their friends or relatives can be visualized as a graph.

An activity in a project can be modeled a node. The preceding and successive activities are connected to the current activities. This graph of activities leads to optimization of schedules in project management.

Though Graph theory is very interesting, studying more advanced graph theory can become very complicated. For beginners, pictorial introduction to graph theory explained in very gentle English is very fun and motivating to the young people to learn more on graph theory.

Why Educate Through Multimedia?

Gone are the days of traditional education that was confined to tiresome lectures and silent books only. Today, multimedia has become an important part of education all over the world. Now educational institutes have become more conscious of how they impart knowledge to the aspirant minds.
What is multimedia?

Multimedia refers using more than one medium, such as audio, visual tools or both. It involves using five basic type media such as:
· Text
· Video
· Sound
· Graphics
· Animation
A few or all of these components are combined together to make education more purposeful. It offers immense benefits to students as well as teachers. The main advantages are briefly discussed here:
Effectiveness
With the use of multimedia, students are better able to comprehend what they are being taught at school, college or university. Learning becomes more effective for them. When multiple senses work together, human mind catches information readily and absorbs it fully. Usually, students at primary and secondary level are not smart enough to understand complicated things instantly. With the use of graphics, sounds and animation etc. their comprehension power increases substantially.
Fascination
Majority of learners are greatly fascinated by multimedia. For instance, a lecturer who is constantly speaking in front of a rostrum can make students feel bored or sleepy. On the other hand, same content delivered through computerized system full of colorful text, appealing graphics, clear sounds and animation attracts their attention. The same information remains vivid in their mind for a longer time, when it is conveyed using multimedia technology. For young ones and school-going students, this is a great way to keep them stuck for hours and increase their attention span.
Interactive learning
When students interact during class, it gives them an opportunity to learn in a better way. With the use of various software, they can do self-assessment as well. This is a huge benefit offered by multimedia. Now there is no need to stand in queue and wait to get answers checked by teacher. Use quick and reliable educational software instead. Most experts are strongly emphasizing the importance of interactive learning. Since, it is student-based; it offers more advantages than traditional education. Now learners are not listeners only but active participants in the class room.
Personal development
It might sound strange, but it is a proven fact that interactive learning, especially with multimedia helps a lot in shaping personality of the students. They become more independent by doing self-study and self-evaluation. Moreover, when their learning skills are improved, they get more confident. It teaches them to learn things in a systematic and disciplined manner.
Academic performance
Students perform better in assessment, when they are taught through multimedia. This is true only when curriculum is carefully planned and the methods of imparting knowledge are highly effective. A computer software with poor sound and blurred or extremely sharp images will rather hinder the ability to grasp quickly and frustrate the learner. Therefore, all the devices and tools must be working perfectly.
